un rêve dans le zoo du parc central
For my 30th birthday, Jennifer took me to New Orleans for the weekend. It was weird.
After Thanksgiving, we went to visit Chris and Carrie in Athens, where Carrie is in vet school. They have a lot of animals, as you'll see.
The Greenwich Village Halloween parade has a reputation that far exceeds it actual value, but in the year of the attacks, the sight of enormous ghouls streaming up 6th Avenue from the direction of the World Trade Center was a little more gripping than usual.
A changing collection of unrelated pictures of New York City, especially the parts I spend most of
my time in.

Pictures from January and February, 2002—the year winter barely happened—here
In early October Jennifer and I drove down to my grandmother's farm in Virginia for a week of terrorism-free laziness. We were both sick the entire time, but the farm is so beautiful it hardly mattered.
Pictures from September 11, as I rode my bike to work in the shadow of the burning Twin Towers. Also, pictures from before and after the attacks, from later in the week, and 2 sets of pictures of memorials: mine and much better ones by Jennifer.
Jennifer and I went to London for a week for work, and though we didn't get out to do much sightseeing, we saw a fair amount of interesting stuff just in the vicinity of the office.
pictures from the opening day of PS1's Warm Up series this summer. The results of this year's architecture competition were much less dramatic and interesting than last year's, but it was still a fun party.
a handful of photos from this year's Mermaid Day Parade on Coney Island
photographs from my last trip to Charleston, where I raced with my mother
Jen and I drove up and down the coast of California in May, 2001. We were in a red Pontiac Grand Am. Here are the pictures to prove it.
Pictures from my friend Rachel Newcomb's wedding in Morocco. (I wasn't there, to my chagrin, but the pictures are interesting).
