My friend Jane is having her first solo show in New York, and the opening is this Thursday, April 1. When we were in college and I'd get stuck on some intransigent piece of writing, I'd often walk down to the art building, where Jane was almost always up late working on paintings. A few minutes of watching her work was usually enough to get me back in gear. Come see her paintings and see what they do for you.
Warp Gallery is on 8th Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, between Driggs and Roebling. The opening begins at 7.
